Kay Breckon - Citizenship & Interventions
I am Kay Breckon, Citizenship and Intervention teacher at Invested Education. I have had 25 years’ teaching experience in both mainstream and SEMH settings. I believe building strong relationships with students is key to securing successful outcomes in the classroom.
Alongside faciltating students’ academic progress, I endeavour to encourage students to engage in, have enthusiasm for and enjoy the subject through a variety of teaching methods. My aim is to inspire students to develop a passion for learning and to become critical thinkers, providing the fundamental skills required to prepare them for adulthood and their next steps beyond our school.
Ultimately, I strive for students to have fun while they are learning and I enjoy creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in each lesson, allowing personalities to shine through and enhance the learning experience.
