Headteacher’s Welcome

It is an honour to be the Headteacher of Invested Education, a genuinely inclusive and family-focused school where every young person is valued, supported and encouraged to become the best version of themselves, while learning to positively contribute to the community around them.

We believe that every pupil is unique and should have the opportunity to discover their strengths, develop their interests and celebrate their own successes and achievements. We are committed to developing the whole child, while understanding and responding to their individual needs.

We work closely with families and external professionals to develop a shared understanding of each young person and ensure that the right support and opportunities are in place for them to thrive. Pupil voice is central to our approach, and we encourage our young people to take an active role in decisions about their education and their future.

Through a broad, engaging and personalised curriculum, we provide our pupils with a wide range of experiences that build confidence, independence, resilience and the practical skills they need for life beyond school. We want learning to be meaningful, purposeful and connected to each young person’s aspirations so they are prepared for adulthood.

Above all, we want every pupil who spends time at Invested Education to feel valued, safe, happy and heard. Whatever their background, starting point or previous educational experiences, we want every young person to recognise their potential, celebrate their progress and feel proud of who they are.
