Enrichment
INTENT
Our enrichment programme widens students’ learning beyond the formal curriculum, developing cultural capital, character, wider skills and aspirations. It supports academic progress, wellbeing and future choices by giving all pupils access to clubs, trips, leadership opportunities, employer encounters and creative and sporting experiences.
IMPLEMENTATION
Enrichment is delivered through a balanced offer of timetabled and cocurricular activities . Activities are inclusive and focus on developing creative, competitive and teambuilding attributes.
IMPACT
Success is shown by broad participation across pupil groups, improved engagement and attendance, measurable gains in skills/character (LORIC), positive wellbeing indicators, and clearer post-16 destinations. Impact is monitored through participation data, student voice, attendance/behaviour trends and targeted evaluations of specific programmes.
