Admissions at Invested
Invested Education is committed to providing specialist education for students with EHC plans who would benefit from an academically led curriculum alongside vocational qualifications and a rich programme of personal development.
The Admissions Process
Invested Education only takes referrals from local authorities. Parents and carers cannot make direct referrals.
Once the school has reviewed a referral, the student and parents/carers will be invited into the setting. In order to gather as much information as possible, parents/carers will be asked to supply additional information as part of our admissions process so that we are able to get a clear picture of need which will help us to ascertain if/how we can best cater for each child.
Once the placement has been agreed, the student and parents/carers will be invited in again to discuss expectations of all parties, the curriculum offer and travel arrangements. Following this the student will then complete an assessment period consisting of academic and wellbeing baselines to establish ability levels and ensure interventions are in place where necessary.
