Therapeutic Intervention

Thrive

We have trained Thrive practitioners in school who support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of our students. Thrive is a developmental, trauma-informed approach that helps us understand and meet each child’s social and emotional needs, enabling them to feel safe, build relationships, and engage more positively with learning.

Drawing & Talking

Drawing & Talking is a gentle, therapeutic approach that helps students express and understand their emotions through drawing. It provides a safe space for children to explore feelings that may be difficult to put into words, supporting emotional wellbeing and resilience.

Lego Therapy

Lego Therapy is a fun and structured way to help students develop communication, social interaction, and teamwork skills. By working together on shared tasks, students build confidence, improve problem-solving skills, and learn how to collaborate with others.

ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant)

Our trained ELSA staff provide targeted support to help students understand and manage their emotions. Through planned sessions, students develop skills such as recognising feelings, building confidence, and forming positive relationships.
