Supporting Learning Through Engaging Online Platforms
At our school, we use a range of carefully chosen online learning platforms to support each student’s individual needs. These programmes are designed to be engaging, accessible, and adaptable, helping students build confidence in their reading, writing, and maths skills. By allowing children to work at their own pace and level, we ensure that learning is both enjoyable and meaningful, supporting progress in a way that works for them.
Phonics
We support students who need extra help with reading through our phonics programme. This helps children understand how sounds work in words, making it easier for them to read with confidence and independence. Staff utilise both Lexonik and Read Revive to develop students’ reading.
Spelling Shed
Spelling Shed makes learning to spell fun and engaging. Students can practise at their own level, helping them improve their spelling and build confidence in their writing.
Times Tables Rock Stars
Times Tables Rock Stars turns maths practice into a fun game. It helps students learn their times tables in an enjoyable way, building confidence and making maths easier in everyday lessons.
Maths Shed
Maths Shed offers a wide range of activities to support different areas of maths. It allows students to learn at their own pace and helps them build a strong understanding of key skills.
NumBots
NumBots helps students develop confidence with numbers and basic maths. It’s especially useful for building strong foundations, making future maths learning feel more manageable.
