MEET OUR TEAM
At Invested Education we believe all young people have the right to an education. Our team of qualified and experienced staff are dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment where everyone can engage and achieve. Our staff are trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and we adopt a trauma informed approach. Several of our staff also hold qualifications in Mental Health First Aid.

Kathryn has over 15 years of experience working in secondary, further and higher education. She is a Specialist Leader in Education and has previously worked as Assistant Director of Teaching and Learning, leading teacher training and staff development.

Josh has extensive experience of working with children and young people in both education and residential settings. This has included leading behaviour teams and teaching groups of students. He also leads our Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training programme.

Alice graduated from Durham University in 2011 and has taught in various schools across the Tees Valley. Alice has also taught Media Studies, Drama and Religious Education alongside 1:1 tutoring for students preparing for GCSE.

Vicky Graduated from Newcastle University, in 2010, with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. She is a qualified secondary Biology teacher, with experience of teaching biology, chemistry and physics at Key Stage 3 and 4. Vicky also holds a basic expedition award and enjoys delivering the Duke of Edinburgh award.

Sara has 10 years experience of working in education. Sara has graduated from Manchester University in 2009 with a degree in Mathematics. She has taught maths at Key Stages 3,4 and 5.

Keith graduated from Aberystwyth University in 2000. He then began working in a mixed mainstream and Special Needs school in Middlesbrough. He has worked in several schools in the Tees area, mainly working with pupils with SEN and SEMH needs in KS1 and KS2. In 2017 Keith took up the role of Behaviour and Wellbeing Lead in a large Primary School. He is currently undertaking further training in Counselling.
